Production Information

The Pais Arena Sport Hall in Jerusalem is the largest and most advanced sports center, entertainment, and Multi-Purpose Hall in Israel. The main hall of the Arena has 11,000 seats with a comfortable and spacious private viewing chamber and a VIP complex. The Arena was built in accordance with leading international standards and based on the experience of similar projects around the world, thus it can host a variety of events of different natures.

The main hall and the various secondary halls allow for easy operational flexibility and variety of uses depending on the needs of the production while making needed adjustments in the arena in a short time.

Among the possible uses of the Pais Arena Sport Hall in Jerusalem:

Hosting Sporting events and playing home court for the Hapoel Jerusalem basketball team in various settings (League, Cup, Euro Cup) and hosting international basketball games, Israeli basketball cup games, Israeli league Final4 and more. In addition, the Arena was built to host live tennis matches, ice hockey games, baseball games and a variety of other sporting events.

Music events – performances by Israeli and international artists.

Exclusive productions – dance and cultural performances, shows on ice, family events and concerts for children including circus acts, Festigal, and more.

Conferences and Exhibitions – The Pais Arena Sport Hall in Jerusalem can also be host to both local and international conferences and exhibitions. The size of the Arena can also be altered depending on the crowd size and participants.

The Arena itself is located in the heart of the sports, culture and entertainment region of Jerusalem. Apart from the Arena, Teddy Stadium, the Malha Mall, the Olympic pool (currently under construction), the tennis Center, the biblical Zoo, and more are also located in the vicinity.

The new Arena complex enables the production of international standards of quality thanks in part to the use of advanced sound systems, technical infrastructure, quality acoustics, and direct access to the arena itself. The complex is also equipped with construction vehicles, LED systems for innovative viewing, advanced air systems and an advanced control room management.

During the construction of the Arena, a strong emphasis was put on providing the visitors an experience like no other. The entrances and exits from and to the arena are very convenient and the use of a sound system enables for a quality acoustic sound experience.

The arena also displays large areas for exhibits in addition to several large halls that allow the rendering of lectures and conferences simultaneously.

On the commercial aspect, it is easy for advertisers to maximize their revues buy exposing and selling merchandise to visitors that come thru various tunnels that lead into the stadium.

The Arena has all the accompanying services for the purpose of holding mass events, such as: ticket services, cafeterias, restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, a press conference room, a workroom for journalists, a police command post, security cameras, and more.

Directions – the Arena is located between a number of major traffic roads in Jerusalem and there is optimal transportation access from and to the Arena. ‘Begin way’ actually ends at the entrance to Malha and connects it with the northern part of the city and the entrance to the city. The southeastern part of the road connects with the southern suburbs of the city. In addition, the Arena is located near the central train station in Jerusalem.

Parking – Surrounding the Arena there are a couple of large parking lots, some of these lots include: the ‘Technology’ parking lot, the ‘Malcha Mall’ parking lot, and the new ‘Teddy Stadium’ parking lot.
